Is that my Fault?

Jan 25th 2006 ........10.05pm I was waiting for my Chicken lollypop(parcel) at Kebabish hotel at Arcoat Road kodambakkam chennai it’s a small hotel(Good for Tandoori items) so I have to wait near the billing counter till my order get ready………..i saw a hunch back old lady sitting in the platform she made a salaam to a couple coming out of hotel………For money and she succeeded in her attempt.

After seeing this even I planned to give money to her and I gave RS.5 ......few minutes after two small boys (around 10 to 12 yrs old) came to her and gave a hand-shake to her as if they have done some good business for the day…………….but its something interesting because this is first time am seeing beggars giving hand-shake each other ……so I started to watch them closely……they started their business with each and every one coming out of hotel………..they even started to catch a guys foot for money….which irritated me………..so I planned not to give money to them and ofcourse they didn’t ask me also!
I turned back to see them after enquiring about my order ……they were not seen …………just came out to see were they are………I don’t know what attracted me to search them i think that dignity of hand-shake.

Suddenly I saw a man hit by a Bus was lying unconsciously in the mid of the road and the bike in which he came was some 20 yards away from him no one is there to help the victim including me!.....but not the 2 boys they are first to reach the victim they tried to lift that guy to platform ………they are not strong enough……. but I am………. but I didn’t do anything…………after seeing this many people around came to help that two boys to move the victim……..the short one of the two boy’s ran to near-by shop to get a water pocket for victim ……after few minutes I moved away from that place.

Is that my fault? ->Not helping victim

Yes it’s my fault…….why to help unknown was running in my mind I think………shame on myself………should not do like this

I am sure I didn’t do any mistake here ..............ofcourse they have tendency of helping unknown …what I didn’t had!(At that moment at least)………the way they have chosen for survival in not right one………They are real heroes ………..heroes should not fall on others foot to survive

Only God has to help these two heroes …………..to get them go in a right way
